Chapter 101

Veronica came home in a huff. She was fuming mad as she stormed to her bedroom. She screamed as she crashed and threw her things to the ground. She swiped the things in her desk and the sound of broken pieces rand loud across the room.

Lily rushed towards her daughter’s room when she heard she came home in an awful mood. As she entered, she saw the messy situation and her daughter red in anger.

“Veronica, darling, what’s wrong?” She asked worriedly as she approached and held her daughter.

Veronica turned towards her mother and buried herself in her embraced. She wept sadly.

“Mother, your daughter was wronged!” She exclaimed indignantly.

“What? Who dared? Tell mother who bullied you?” Lily inquired with concern.

Veronica could only choke and complain.

“Why can’t it be me? Why?! I am much better than her! Even Aunt Amanda seemed bewitched by her now!” Veronica’s heart ached voice sounded.

Lily immediately got the gist of the situation. S
