He seems like such a nice man.

As I'm about to walk away towards my father, something attaches to my pants. I crouch down and take it into my hands.

It's metal, something broken. Almost resembling handcuffs.

That seems odd...

"..... I'm scared," my sister admits timidly. "He hasn't moved since mom took care of his wounds. He's been sitting there like a statue!"

I sigh, "Lucy! The man literally fell off a cliff! That aside, his wife is missing!"

"So? He's scary! Are we supposed to take care of him?" Looking over her shoulder, she meets her mother's eyes and asks, "Please! Mom?"

She doesn't respond. She continues knitting that scarf she's been working on for the past few weeks now. She keeps getting interrupted, never able to finish it.

"I'm going to bring him some tea," I ann
