Chapter 559. Chantel Takes Control

I'm not allowing it. She needs more sleep. A few more hours. We'll go at night.

The struggling continues and even though she can fight me and get out of my arms that way, she doesn't.

I hear her sigh before she quits struggling against me and relaxes. She places her hand on my cheek as she whispers sweet words to me to wake me up.

"Angel, wake up, please. It's going to be a long day." She sounds calm but that changes when I still don't respond. Her voice begins to sound more stressed. So I make a sound, something that sounds like a cough and a sigh at the same time.

That seems to calm her down.

Her hand moves up from my cheek into my hair. Her head is resting on my arm as she's toying with my hair. She's gently playing with my now tousled hair. Running her fingers through it, even massaging my scalp a little.
