Chapter 587. Wake up

Her hair is pulled up in a bun, a loose one because she always complains about having a headache when it's too tight. Sometimes I loosen it while she sleeps to avoid that.

I let my eyes trail down a little lower, she's still wearing her earrings , tiny diamonds. Her hands are placed underneath her cheek and she's entirely curled up.

"I love you so fucking much. I doubt you realize the extent I'd go for you to remain happy and safe." I find myself whispering these words while I pull the blanket that she keeps throwing off herself over her.

The clock is ticking and it's almost time. I rapidly take a shower. A short one because I don't have much time left.

"Wake up, darling." I whisper to her softly. "Wake up." I kiss her cheeks, her lips, her neck, I keep going lower until she bursts out into laughter and gets up to make me stop.

"The carriage wasn't enough for
