"Can we get extra blankets?" I ask the first maid I see passing by us once we arrive in V's room. I close the curtains while she settles on her bed. Once all the curtains are closed, I light all the lights she has. But I keep it low. Dark enough so she can still sleep.

Aiyana brings Fayera's crib and I place her in her bed, kissing her cheeks and fists. She'll wake up soon.
