Troy rushed to the other side of the hallway and entered through the backdoor of the theater room. The front door was locked two years ago because the door was dysfunctional. Once locked, it wouldn’t open without outside help. No one wanted to risk getting locked up inside. Therefore, the front door was securely locked with Gabrielle’s fingerprint.

As soon as Troy stepped into the theater room, he turned on the lights. As soon as Danica came in his sight his heart wrenched seeing her crouched on the floor with her eyes shut close and cheeks stained with dried tear marks.
