Instead of flirting, Danica and Kenji ended up talking about random stuff until Hernan got home with Trevor. He took Kenji with him in the room, leaving Danica alone on the terrace.

“That was awesome, Dani,” Gabrielle spoke up from Danica’s back, making her flinch.

She placed a hand over her chest. “Geez. You scared me, Gab.”

Gabrielle placed a hand over Danica’s shoulder. “Everything was going well, and he melted when you fed him the cookie. I saw the way Kenji looked at you. But then he started to be friendly because he spotted us hiding behind the door. His eyes are sharp, Dani. I saw him looking at us.”
