Chapter 127. Fighter’s Past
Hunter’s POV
Robert’s punch was so powerful that the wave of pressure it created could still be felt even in the air.
Fighter had taken in all that damage and was in a semiconscious stage thanks to that.
He moved his fingers slowly through the rubble. His mind was somewhere else, however.
He remembered his past—a very dark path for someone as energetic as he was.
Born in a faraway land, the humans there were incredibly entitled and ignorant. They were also systematic, following a crucial way of life: don’t stand out, be like everyone, do what you’re meant to do, which is appointed to you by the king of that land.
However, for Fighter, he was very different from everyone else. He had no parents—whether they abandoned him or were killed, he didn’t know. All he knew for sure is that he wasn’t like the people of that town, and they made sure to remind him every chance they got.
