Chapter 97. The Beginning of the End

Shawn parked the car in the driveway of the quaint and charming house. He got out of the car carrying a bouquet of flowers and a basket of fruit. The detective’s face lit up as he walked up to the porch and eagerly knocked on the door.

The door opened to reveal Kyler. The pack leader looked fresh with his short haircut. According to Shawn, he even looked a few years younger. At least Kyler seemed genuinely happy, which reassured Shawn.
