After packing up our stuff very swiftly. He bent down once again indicating that I should get on his back. This time I didn’t hesitate as I slowly got on his back. The ride back to the mansion was slightly longer than I first thought. Soon after getting into the car, it started to rain. I felt so lucky that it didn’t rain while we were still in the forest. That would have ruined everything for us. I guess I still had a little bit of luck on my side after all.
“It’s great that it didn’t rain while we were still outside. Guess we were pretty lucky,” I said as I flashed Reiner a smile.
“Yeah…it’s going to rain more often from now on. Rainy season seemed to have arrived,” Reiner stated as he kept his eyes on the road.
