Chapter 148. His Bride

Since when did Reiner become such a tease like this? The fact that a smile formed on my lips as I looked at his handsome face told me that I didn’t mind this version of him at all. I probably loved it as much as I loved the other sides of him.

“What are you plans for the weekend?” Reiner inquired abruptly.

That question truly came out of nowhere. Of course, I didn’t have any plans for this weekend or any weekend for that matter. My only engagement is working at the bar in the evening.

“Well, I have work scheduled at the bar, but I guess I can find my way out of it,” I replied.

I better not get my hopes up, though…

“If you’re ok with it, I want you to spend the weekend with me,” Reiner said firmly.

“Are you…asking me on a date?” I asked, more confused than hopeful.

“I guess…” he replied softly.

“I would love to go on a date with you. The last date we had was ages ago…” I cried excitedly before smiling brightly at him. <
