“Is that so?” Reiner asked softly.

“Yes…so…umm…it’s all ok now. I just wanted to tell you everything so that you wouldn’t have to worry if you found out about her visit afterwards,” I said with a small smile.

“What else did she say?” he asked further.

So far, Reiner hadn’t commented on anything, and it was hard for me to judge what he was thinking or feeling and that made me a little uncomfortable. There didn’t seem to be any other option but to continue pressing ahead.

“Nothing much really. I guess my reactions freaked her out and she couldn’t wait to get back home after that…” I said before laughing a little.
