Chapter 9. Looking Forward to Their Date
“I’m glad that you liked it,” he said, a satisfying smile lighting up his face. He helped her to his car and then climbed into the driver’s seat.
“When will I see you again Lisa?” he asked her hopefully.
“Tomorrow? I have classes in the morning,” she said shyly. She, too, wanted to see him again. There was this strange longing in her heart to meet him and spend more time with him. Actually, she didn’t really want to go home. She knew that the moment she walked inside her house, her mom would start her drama for disappearing without doing as she had wanted her to do.
“So, when will you get over?”
“By 11 o’clock in the morning.”
