Chapter 10. A Lead

[Rosco’s POV]

My eyes grow wide as I watch Denali collapse on the ground while blood explodes from her mouth. Fuck! I should have known that she would do whatever it took to get answers from her father.

‘Help her!’ Fabian whimpers. ‘You shouldn’t have let her go alone!’

Surging forward, I gather Denali into my arms and then shoot a glare in Roger’s direction as he watches on in amusement.
