Chapter 33

Aliza met one of her friends during the shopping. Since they were meeting each other after a very long time, Charles left Aliza at her friend’s place and came home. It was not only his body, but his soul and mind also craved for Aliza. Yet he could not stop her from having small wishes of a life unfulfilled.

Two hours later, Charles could hear the calling bell followed by the roar of the engine. Her friend had dropped Aliza at the entrance of their cottage and left.

“Aliza, you are early. I thought you wouldn’t be home till late in the night?” Charles called and swiftly captured her in his arms, “I missed you so much. Had you not come from your friend’s home soon, I would have reached you.”

Aliza raised both her brows in curiosity. 

“Well, my husband is drinking like a cow.” She pointed to the half-finished drink sitting on the study desk. “I already know that he misses me. How can I stay away from him since we came here for a honeymoon?” She winked.
