If I didn't have a modicum of respect for Adriana's father, my fist would have met his face hours ago. He has been upsetting me steadily since he got here, and I didn't even sit with him for more than thirty minutes. I knew he was on his way, after I'd called for him I knew he would come soon if he was smart. Then I went to tell her, knowing she would appreciate it. She hasn't spoken to any of them since she came here. I didn't know how other families were seeing as mine were fucked up, but I thought she would be excited to see someone from her family.
