My eyes grew wide when they both put their arms out to the side and brilliant gold lights shot out of their eyes. Huge black wings then burst out of their backs and fanned out. Their screeching ceased as they finished their ascension. They stared at me with their green hunter's eyes, that now had Kali's vampire hybrid gold rings circling their pupils. They hissed at me when their fangs extended and as they did, their eyes turned raven black fully completing their transformation.

They really were the ultimate weapons, seeing them up close and personal helped me realize why the hunter's council wanted them so badly.
