Mina whimpered when we heard him yelp as Kali hit him, then shouted,

“Shut your mouth, you stupid mutt!” The line went quiet for a second then she spoke again, “sorry about that. Please ignore my pet, he doesn't yet know his place,” she said through gritted teeth then hit him again making him whimper. “But with a little time and re-training at the council, he'll be a perfect little puppy. Won't you? Yes, you will!” She said in baby talk.

Mina and I listened while Kali spoke to Finnley, It turned my stomach when she said, “who's a cute little puppy, huh? You're so scrumptious, I could just eat you all up, yes I could.”
