I stepped away from Chase's dead body as it shifted back into his human form. The pack rushed to him and continued to whine and whimper. Some of them were licking him and nudging him with their noses. I walked over to a tree and shifted back into my human form, then sat on the floor with my back against the tree, and just gazed up at the stars. The stars were beginning to fade as the morning sun slowly rose over the mountains. Any other time I would have enjoyed the beauty of it, but not today.

“Luna? We need to take you back, I know why you're running, and I understand that you're scared. But I also know your future, and in the future that I have seen, you are a Trybrid.
