Chapter 53

Freya Rose

My heart began to sink, I didn't want anyone to see but inside I was falling apart. I knew I had to stay strong and void of emotion, there was no other choice, no other plan, so I had to stay strong. But, all I wanted to do was take the broken man on the floor beneath me, hold on to him, and never let him go. I wanted more than anything to go back up to that mountain ledge with him, and stay there forever watching the sun rise and fall, while curled up in his arms for eternity.

“Okay, leave, but Evan is going with you. He will make sure that you don't sabotage our plans,” Selene snapped at him as she threw him back down onto the floor.
