Chapter 62

Mason Hart

I groaned as I opened my eyes, I was still trapped beneath the collapsed roof of the car. My head was banging, so I tried to touch it but there wasn't enough room for me to reach my hand up to it. Worry quickly popped into my mind as I remembered what had just happened.

“Evan!” I screamed into the air.

“Ya, I'm here,” he shouted back, and I sighed with relief.

“Are you okay?” I shouted out to him.

“Well my ass hurts like a bitch, but ya, I'm okay. Are you okay?” He asked.

“Yeah, I think so. I'm gonna try and open this door, can you get through to her?” I asked him, then pulled my legs back as far as they'd go, before booting the door.

It popped open, so I turned around and crawled out of the car and onto the ground. I stood up and stretched out my back as the wind continued to rage around me. I held onto the roof of the car and then hauled myself up onto it to join Evan.
