Chapter 185. New Attire
Eryndor’s POV
Two hours had passed since we’d arrived, and I finally decided it was time to swap out my charred, grime-laden garments for something cleaner and more presentable. In place of my scorched tunic and soot-streaked trousers, I chose a crisp blue long-sleeve shirt, the sleeves rolled neatly up to my elbows. Over it, I fastened a fitted black leather vest, its supple panels catching the morning light.
My new trousers were dark as well, lined with pockets everywhere—from my hips down to my calves—each compartment ready to cradle a tool, a dagger, or any number of gadgets I might need. On my hands went a pair of fingerless gloves, their worn leather perfect for maintaining grip without hindering dexterity. Finally, black boots with vibrant blue soles completed my ensemble.
