Chapter 63. Caught and Punished

A pale crescent moon shines with the blanket of stars creating a terrific panorama throughout the darkness of the night. Clover felt motivated to work back on the bar, seeing shooting stars pass above her, and wished everything would be okay in the end. She included Syd in her wish and hoped he was fine and wasn’t caught for not showing himself at their last meeting. That night, she was still oblivious to his predicament.
