After my accident, everyone tried to convince me that I'd hallucinated seeing Jesse. They insisted that they'd had a traditional werewolf funeral for him, and that me thinking that I'd seen him that day was because of the knock to my head when the car hit me. And even though common sense and logic told me they were all right, in my heart, I still held hope that he was alive.
