Chapter 114. Epilogue: Evran and Lenore pt. 11

“This is huge,” Lenore said in awe. “Is this all yours?” 

I scratched my head awkwardly. “Yes. I used to race a lot in high school and when I won, the money was quite big. After saving up, I submitted a proposal to my father to help me set up this circuit and this is it.... My father helped me find sponsors and investors.” 

Lenore’s clear eyes looked at me in awe, without her trying to hide it. “You’re great, Evran. You’re even building a second circuit, right?”

I smiled and reached out to hug her. “We’re both great and great people should stick together.” 

Lenore laughed and stood on tiptoes to kiss my cheek. 

Lately she’s looked fresher and has gained weight. My mother forced her to follow a nutritional program, like the ones implemented in hospitals for patients who are conside
