“Ms. Elena, are you back?” 

I turned around and saw Noah walking towards me while taking off his helmet. His hair was messy, but that made him look even more charming. 

“Yes,” I replied, while accepting the cup of coffee filled with Americano that I ordered. “I heard, you also took leave, while I was away?” 

He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. Like a little kid who got caught stealing candy from his mother’s drawer, I thought. 

“Yeah,” he replied. “I’m heartbroken.”
