Chapter 129. Mother and Son

Giovanna noticed that Luc, Theo and Freya spent a lot of time next to the Legendaries, sometimes gazing meaningfully at each other and sometimes absorbed in thought as they concentrated on something passing by the waterfall in Mehoffer's living room, but they didn't talk about anything, as if they knew she could hear every word they said or because they kept secrets from each other.

They stared at each other for a long time and Giovanna, because of the child she was carrying and who was developing rapidly in her womb, absorbing much of her energy, was slow to understand that they were talking by telepathy.
