Chapter 175. Amnesia

When Giovanna woke up, she was back in the tent where she remembered lying. She smelled coffee and went outside.

Luc and Theo were talking to a group of werewolves, crouched down with their enameled mugs of steaming coffee in their hands. She couldn't hear what they were talking about, but from the look on their faces. It was trouble. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Her son was just a dream. A good dream, but now it was time to wake up and get back to real life.

She approached and everyone stood up when they saw her coming. Luc stared at her thoughtfully for a few seconds, before excusing himself and heading off down the road. Giovanna followed him with her eyes and as soon as he was out of sight, she heard the sound of a car engine. He was gone. She felt frustrated and turned to Theo. The other werewolves scattered.

“What's going on here?”

“Some news that I hope will please you.”
