Chapter 185. Love and Tears

They went out looking for Luc around the palace. Giovanna hadn't seen any change, not even in the furniture, since the last time she had been there. They didn't get as far as Luc's chambers; he was drinking beer with a man Giovanna had never seen before. They approached and as soon as she got close, she stared at Luc coldly.

“I need to talk to you in private.” She said and looked sideways at the man with Luc.

He stood up and looked at her amused. Giovanna thought he was handsome. He had brown eyes and golden hair.

“I get the message, princess. If you want to talk to me alone, too, I'll be in my room.” He said, looking at her with admiration and left.

The man's insolent attitude wasn't what impressed her most. Luc laughed at the way the man undressed her with his gaze. He wasn't jealous. That was strange. Freya had left too and Giovanna sat down.
