Two weeks went by, with my mother's and Carter's bodies thrown and forgotten. I had learnt to live with the loss of my pregnancy and put all the efforts into moving Kai and Ronan's clothes and essentials to my room. I wasn't going to be the one to move, and I didn't care whether they ruled an entire kingdom; my decision as far as living arrangements were concerned was final. Elias and Nyra had reconnected, and he had spent every day apologising to her for not standing by her when everyone else didn't give her a chance.
"Can I proceed?" Nyra asked the alpha kings as we were taking breakfast in the dining room.
"Affirmative," Kai answered quickly, then stuffed his face with a large piece of meat.
I frowned, lifting my cup of coffee. "What are you talking about?" I asked, sipping the hot liquid.
