Chapter 104. Take Me Home

"I must be dreaming, but let's give this a shot. She already agreed to a date with me. I just have to prove my worth," Carl cheered himself. He was like a fool smiling and talking while sitting alone on a bench. He was looking so much forward to what the next day would bring him for a present. Hoping with all his heart, it was something he had been longing for.

After a while, he went back to the driver's lounge. He took out a book and continued reading until he received a call from Mister Vero.

"Sir?" Carl answered the phone right away.

"We are leaving in ten minutes," Denny informed Carl straight to the point. Like he would always do.

"Yes, sir," Carl replied courteously. He waited for Mister Vero to cut the line then checked the car for any mess, in and out. Then drove the car to the main entrance, where he would wait for his employer and leave to wherever he would say they were going.
