Tristan's Point Of View:

I kept my eyes closed but I could hear their conversation on my side. Everything happened too fast for me and in an instant I lost consciousness. All I know is that when I stood up to go to see Cathalina, a bullet hit my back, stomach, and shoulder. They still haven't stopped looking for me and I'm tired.

When I opened my eyes I saw my cousins, friends, and parents with the Doctor and they were all talking. I looked around and I was in the hospital. I moved my mouth and couldn't speak but the second time it worked.

"Mo...mommy," I said softly and moved my toes and hands.

“Tristan!” Mommy in a shocked voice. “Oh my God! Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Do you need something?"

I looked down at my body and blinked to see that my left arm, my head, and my right fist were all bandaged.
