Chapter 9

Third-Person POV

"The Alpha of White Moon Pack? Heavens! What is he doing here?" Pandora's father, Jorge, said aloud before walking over to the door.

Pandora stood rooted to the ground, heart racing faster than usual. It's a wonder it was still within the confines of her chest. There was only one Alpha who she knew who would trace her home and she wasn't ready to face him again.

"Come on in. You are welcome into our humble home Alpha Rolan" Hearing his name aloud from her father's lips jolted her out of her reverie and she rushed up the stairs to her room, banging the door in the process.

"Pandora!" Her mother, Maggie, exclaimed. "I'm sorry, I don't know what has come over her. She came home this morning looking a bit distraught"

"That's okay. Ms Miller, I assume" Rolan said calmly.
