Chapter 104. The Holy Trinity

Savannah’s POV

“You told my dad we’ll be engaged in a month’s time?! That’s not part of the plan!”

I hiss under my breath as Logan and I walk down the long hallway. There are some maids cleaning the staircase, preparing for the party later, and they turn and bow to us as we walk past and I quickly switch my face into a smile.

“Yeah, but it worked, didn’t it?” Logan says nonchalantly.

We keep walking and a butler carrying bottles of champagne passes by. He stops to bow at us and Logan takes the opportunity to swipe a bottle from him.

“Oh, champagne! Your dad won’t mind, right?” he chuckles.
