Chapter 109. Great Couple

Logan’s POV

One Week Later

“Congratulations on your engagement,” says one of our gamma chiefs. “You two make a great couple.”

“Thank you, Mr. Rhodes,” I smile back and shake the old man’s hand. “Thanks for coming.”

“We’re sad to see you go, but I know you can do great things over there.”

“Thank you, I appreciate your support,” I smile again.

“Congratulations you two,” says the next person in line, who I don’t know, so he must come from Savannah’s pack.

“Thank you, Bill,” Savannah smiles and shakes his hand.

“Your mother would be so proud of you,” the man says, and Savannah blushes and nods.

Before the next group of people come up to us, I take a moment to stretch and rest my hand. My face is numb from all the fake smiling and my hand is sore from shaking other people’s hands for an entire day.

“How much longer do these things last?” I lean my head into Savannah’s ear and whisper lowly so only she could hear me.
