Chapter 158. Dark Place

Savannah’s POV

I was brought into a car where we drove into the woods about ten miles outside the Black Onyx castle. There, we went into this cave that led to the underground dungeon they had built. I heard it from the guards’ thoughts. Carter had this dungeon built about a month ago, soon after I left. It was made specifically for me, specifically for this plan.

The underground dungeon is dark and cold. The only source of light is from the torches on the wall, and the only way out is the same way we came in from. There isn’t much of anything inside the dungeon except the chains and ropes hanging on the back wall, reserved for me. As soon as we arrived, they took me to the wall and tied my hands up above my head. I can maybe take one step forward and that’s all the chains allow.
