“We drank that wine for a very long time until we eventually became drunk and lay on the floor of her sitting room. I had joined her in drinking that wine because I felt safe around the house and had thought of it like a home too.

“The next morning when I woke up, I discovered that I was already in my house. The first thing that greeted my sight was the sight of my boyfriend’s angry face. I had thought he was mad at me for getting myself drunk, but on another look, it wasn’t and I was left in a state of confusion. He was so mad at me and I can never forget that look. I remember trying to find out what was wrong on his end while nursing my excruciating headache.

“He then showed me a video. When I looked at the video, guess what? It was a video of Shawn lying naked on my bed. I couldn’t explain myself at all as my mouth kept opening and closing. I couldn’t believe he would ever do that to me. He had brought me from his house to my apartment just to take advantage of me.
