“You will come see me when I am on leave!” was Thomas’ words the last time they had spoken and she never forgot it and no matter how long it had taken, she didn’t care because she knew that one day, he would be granted leave.

It looked like the time had come though.

Anita looked at Andre and he rubbed her shoulders.

She then smiled and took her phone to see what date it was.

“You can go see him tomorrow evening. How about that?” he asked her and she nodded in agreement. She was fine with everything as long as she was still going to go see him.

Shawn had driven back home and when he got to his gate, it took him forever before he came down from the vehicle as he was already looking worse than before.
