Chapter 39. Fake Call

Kate smirked. So much indeed. She thought.

Kate thought of how to react, but just decided to play smart just like the way he has been doing for her. She couldn’t let him see that she was already down.

“Can you come see me?” he asked.

Her eyes widened in surprise. She instantly forgot about all her worries.

“I will come. Text me your address,” she replied with a cheeky smile.

“Ni, you don’t have to stress. I will send someone to you. Don’t worry dear,” he replied.

“Okay I will send my address to you now,” she said and quickly texted Anita’s address to him.

“Received. Expect my driver.”

“Okay love.”

Kate git up for a cool shower after the call. By the time she was done, Anita had already made breakfast.

“You should eat.”

“No no, my cab is already here and waiting. Enjoy sweetie,” she replied and kissed Anita on the cheek before finding her way out.

Anita shook her head. Anyways, she was not going to stop her.
