When Victor saw Asher leave he saw his opportunity. The last time they had a chance to grab her, that bodyguard had shown up and ruined it for them. The man seemed to always be with her so this was an opportunity he couldn’t miss.

He wasn’t going to wait for Jane. That would just take precious time. Who knew when Mr. Bodyguard was going to be back. He was sure that he could handle Kimberly alone, she was just a lady who didn’t know anything about protecting herself. So immediately he saw Asher leave, he got out and went straight for Kimberly’s apartment.

Kimberly had made herself a tuna salad for dinner, but she’d finally put most of the salad into the refrigerator. If it were those days at College, she would have called one of her girlfriends and gone out to dinner and maybe a movie since Phoebe couldn’t come over because she had to work.

But she also couldn’t go out because Asher had made her promise that she wasn’t going to. Even if it was with friends.
