Emma’s POV

“Why do you look so shocked? In these circumstances, it’s the only situation that will benefit you and my son,” he said and gave me a chance to speak, but when I had nothing to say, he continued.

“You don’t want him to be a laughing stock to the whole society, right?” he asked, staring down at me.

“No, I don’t want it.”

“So it wouldn’t hurt if he got married and has his kids with the other woman?” he asked.

Though what he was asking me hurt, I found myself nodding to his request.

“So you are fine if we get another wife for him, right?” he asked.

“If she is able to give him a child, I am fine with it,” I replied.

“Good then, we will begin the search, and you must not back out of it. You agreed to this, and so you must end it, okay?” he said.

“Yes, Your Majesty,” I replied.

Later on, I went back to the palace thinking about what I just agreed on. If Brian were to find out, then I am sure that he will be angry.
