Emma’s POV

It was the same path I took when I was going that I took when I was coming.

No one must see me. After all, I am the queen, and no one must know that I left the palace just to go and see someone outside for a while.

I was walking past the garden when I looked up and saw Brian waiting for me. As soon as he saw me, he opened up his arms, and I ran into his embrace, hugging him fiercely.

“Enjoyed your day?” he asked as he held onto me.

“Yes, I did, it was fun, and I am glad that I saw my dad,” I said as I stared up at him.

“It’s so good to see you smile like this,” he said.

“Haven’t I always smiled?” I asked, staring at him.

“It’s been a while since I saw you smile like this. I am glad that you went out to see the city. It has really put you in a good mood,” he said.
