Emma’s POV

Having no choice, I walked in and stood beside him watching the baby.

“Why were you hesitating to come in?” he asked.

“Me? Hesitating? Of course not,” I said quickly.

“Did Brian ask you to stay away from me?” he asked.

“Why would he ask me to stay away from you?” I asked.

“Because he is jealous and he told me that this morning too.”
