Chapter 47

The plan went wrongThe Governor gaze at her and he stared at her for a minute. She's afraid that he saw her somewhere.

"You look familiar, my lady Anika! I think I saw your face before?" He asked her. 

Anika took a sip of red wine and set her lovely smile at him. 

"A beauty of mine can be seen anywhere, right my King?" She bravely uttered and shifted her lustrous eyes to King Darius. 

"Yes, that's why she's my favorites!" The king replied with enthusiasm. 

The Governor believed him but he's not convinced that much. 

"Are you a hunter? Why you're with them? You're not a Valkyrian!" The Governor asked Arem.

Arem quickly answered back. 

"I came here to help them find this lady's parents, sire!" He said. 

The Governor nod his head and smiled at the King. 

"I hope you will find what you're looking for, my Lord. Cheers! Let's pray for the best in your journey!" The Governor raised his glass
