Chapter 2

Avaleene's POV 

I still remember that day Crystal clearly. It was 3 am and I was sleeping in my room. Suddenly it started raining fire arrows and what not. 

My father woke me up and sent me away with my mother. He had to go and join the war with the king. Mother was trying her best to protect me and take me to the safe place but before that a blast happened and my mother pushed me away from it. 

I was hit with a tree and fell unconscious. Xavier was the one who saved me and brought me to the royal place. By then everything was destroyed, our parents were gone, not only that half of the kingdom was gone. 

Everyone I knew died leaving me alone. I started feeling like I am a cursed person. Otherwise why will I only survive the destruction where everyone I held dear is gone? 

I was depressed for days and couldn't eat or sleep properly because of it. That time Xavier came as a saviour. He brought me here in this towe
