Adolphus's POV 

"The guard of the forest of dead i wish to distract the dead so they do not attack my mate. Tell me what to do." I asked the guard wiping my tears 

Because crying will not help my mate's condition or heal her and I need to heal my mate. That is my first priority. I will do anything and everything to save my mate. 

"You need to sacrifice someone to the dead. At least a part of someone so they feed on it and leave your mate." He replied and I looked at my mate 

She needs treatment as soon as possible and to take her out of the forest I need to sacrifice a part. 

I stabbed myself in the back area with my paw and ripped some flesh off to sacrifice to the dead. It hurted very much to rip my flesh like this but I need to save my mate and for that I need to do this
