“Are you ok back there, Isla?” Simon glanced at me from the rear-view mirror. I pursed my lips together and nodded. 

  I was going to be simply fine. 

  My mother was free from pain now and my father. 

  I could not help but feel a little relieved that she was at peace. 

  Uncle Ed would have been told about mother by now and I hoped that he knew that I was on my way back to Eclipse. 

  That place was my home.
