Miller’s POV 

  I looked around, trying hard not to panic all the while dread filled me. My stomach was in knots and my heart pumping away like it was about to break through my chest. 

  Where could she be? 

  She had gone with Esmeralda to talk and now I could not find either of them. 

  I couldn’t see her and not could I pick up her scent. 

  Nothing. 

  It was as if she had never existed. 

  “Isla?” I yelled before jumping into the air as my body shifted into my wolf. She had to be out there somewhere.
