“Isla, I will ensure your safety, I promise." Aaron's father assured me profusely.
A flicker of hope ignited within me as I considered his words. Maybe there was still a chance to bridge the gap, to unite the werewolves and hybrid witches, and to protect the ones we held dear. But trust was not easily won back after it had been shattered, and I needed more than words to believe in him again.
"Alpha Leon, if you truly want to make things right, then we need transparency," I asserted firmly. "We need to know everything happening, even the parts that may be difficult to hear. Only with full disclosure can we work together to overcome this threat."
