Nina’s POV 

“Nina, are you pregnant?” 

I swirled around to look at Nathan’s mother who had a strange and calculative yet motherly on her aging but beautiful face. 

“Pregnant? What makes you think that I’m pregnant?” I asked Nathan’s mother , my heart suddenly pounding fast. 

“Nina, you have added some weight , you ate more than usual at the dining table and you have that early pregnancy glow “ said Nathan’s mother still holding my hair while her other hand slightly pats my shoulders but it only made me more anxious. 

“No, it can’t be. I can’t be pregnant and besides my stomach is still flat” I said holding my tummy with disbelief 

“Nina, you’re a certified nurse assistant. You should know better , is this your first time vomiting?” She asked
